About Plympton Park

The oldest homes are near Marion Road, South Terrace and the tram line, where the area was first carved up from farmland in the 1880s. The southern streets, once called Brayville North, were subdivided in the 1950s. Today you will find original bungalows and solid brick homes on decent blocks, plus plenty of courtyard homes and townhouses where older blocks have been split.

Daily life is simple here. The Glenelg tram runs along the northern edge, buses run along Marion Road and Bray Street, and Kurralta Park shops are close by. Plympton Park Oval on Park Terrace is home to the Plympton Football Club and has a playground. Families look at Forbes Primary School, Emmaus Christian College and Plympton International College, all nearby.
