About Seacliff

Seacliff's housing runs from interwar bungalows and solid post-war homes to modern two-storey builds that make the most of sea views on the higher streets. Many older blocks have been redeveloped, and there is a steady supply of townhouses and low-rise units near the Esplanade. Homes close to the beach and on the rise toward the hills command the strongest prices.

The Seacliff Hotel, built in 1927, anchors the Esplanade, and the Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club patrols the beach from the southern end. The Brighton and Seacliff Yacht Club has been sailing here since 1919. Seacliff station on the Seaford line gives a direct run to the city, and Brighton's Jetty Road is a short trip north.
